Print Quality
All prints are printed only after your order is made.
Your prints are produced using an Epson 2200 Photo printer
with 7-colour UltraChrome Ink
on sellected Photo Paper. This delivers archival result
with a lightfastness rating of
up to 75 years for colour prints when they are stored properly under glass.
Greeting Cards and Photo Magnets are handmade with the same quality prints
on them.
Please do not rub paper or anything across the prints as they will scratch.
Print Care
Storing your prints in photo albums protects them from both airborne
contaminants and light
and assures them the longest life. We recommend using acidifier,
archival sleeves.
If you are displaying your prints in picture frames, mount them under glass
to minimize exposure to
humidity, cigarette smoke, and other atmospheric contaminants. Avoid
placing them in direct sunlight
or near sources of bright light. Displayed prints will last longer
when protected from the environment,
but will not last as long as prints stored in photo albums. Avoid
framing when humidity is high,
as condensation may form behind the glass. If the humidity is too
high, store your print in a photo
album or plastic sleeve until the humidity drops.
Store your prints away from extreme temperatures, high humidity, and bright
lights.
Don't display or store your prints outdoor.
Don't store your prints where they are exposed to chemicals, such as in
a darkroom.
Keep your unprotected prints away from source of ozone, such as monitors
and TV's,
air cleaners or other sources of high voltage electricity.
